Primary pituitary abscess: an unexpected diagnosis

Pituitary abscess is a rare condition, with approximately 200 cases reported in the literatüre. Two-thirds of pituitary abscess which occurs without any of the aforementioned risk factors are primary type while remaining are secondary type-abscess. A 58 year old female patient presented with fatigue, headache and loss of appetite for two months.
